Pet Policy

Pet-friendly hotels are hard to come by, however here at Darwin’s Townhouse we welcome them. We have designated garden rooms especially for guests who wish to bring along their furry friends, so before arrival please make sure you have informed us about bringing an extra guest. Dogs of all sizes cost just £25 per stay when they share a room with you (£25 per dog). This cost is for a deep clean of the furnishings in the room after your departure so that future guests with allergies can enjoy their time at the hotel. Any damage to the rooms or furnishings will be charged on top of this fee.

Every pet-friendly hotel has its own rules, and these are ours:

🐾Dogs are not permitted in the main house, which includes our breakfast room, lounges, and bar area.

🐾Please feel free to take advantage of our beautiful garden, especially during sunnier weather, however we do ask guests to be mindful of other guests and to keep their dogs on their leads at all times.

🐾We also ask that owners do not allow pets on the furniture or beds, and your own dog bedding is brought with you

🐾We must maintain the quality of our rooms no matter what the circumstance, so we ask that your pet is dry and clean of dirt before letting it enter the room.

🐾We respectfully ask that you take your dog off the property to do it’s business, we must maintain the standard of the property at all times.

🐾We serve breakfast daily from 7am-10am in our conservatory, if you wish you wish to dine with your pet, you are welcome to request a table outside, (depending on weather circumstances) or we may be able to offer a limited room delivery service.

🐾We ask that you do not leave your dog alone in the room if they are likely to disturb other guests.

 

We reserve the right to additionally charge you, if none of the above requirements are met.
