Darwinâ€™s Town House is located steps from the River Severn Path and moments from the 'Original Shrewsbury One Off' with its town centre's black and white Tudor buildings. With its higgledy-piggledy streets with names you want to say out loud, a river that scoops up the town in a meandering loop featuring an eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and high street stores. A mix of the very old and the very new, the quirky and the one offs.
We are located steps from St Julian Friars long stay car park (SY1 1XL) which is just Â£10 all day, Â£5 all day on Sundays, and free after 6pm until 8am. There is also another car park - Abbey Forgate (SY2 6AH) located 5 minutes walk away which is Â£4 all day and free on Sundays.
We offer a full breakfast menu created with locally-sourced ingredients. Served Monday to Friday 7am - 9.30am, Saturday - Sunday 8am - 10am.
We have two sister restaurants within a short stroll; "The Loopy Shrew", serving traditional English cuisine, whilst Darwin's Kitchen serves mouth-wateringly fresh local food in fresh ways and both offering a 10% family discount off your final bill when you stay with us.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the Garden Rooms, please provide bedding for your dog. A charge of Â£15 per stay will be added to your bill.
